About

The power of the human eye is in many
ways far superior to even the most modern
cameras, and will probably last for many
more years.
Nevertheless, a camera is able to capture
visual information that are not visible to the
eye, such as distant motives, extremely
small structures, revealing objects in
darkness or freezing fast motions of quickmoving
species.
The diversity of “seeing” opens up visual
but also emotional spaces for something
new and surprising, even if the motif
considered is a very familiar everyday
scene.
My photographs taken on different trips are
an invitation to discover these spaces in
neighboring, well-known regions as well as
in distant landscapes.
