I´d like to thank my wife Gudrun and my children Mareike, Hendrik and Nils for accompanying me on many of my journeys.

Particullary I appreciate their immense patience during my shooting sessions; they didn´t urge me to stop taking pictures even when they got wet by rain, facing icy colds or burning sun.
